What is MONAd Intelligence?
A strategic intelligence practice. It interprets identity, perception, and influence for founders, leadership teams, and cultural institutions during moments of transition, reinvention, or scale.
What is Intentional Intelligence™?
The discipline MONAd Intelligence applies. It combines Human Intelligence, Open-Source Intelligence, and Strategic Synthesis to read what is shaping a person, brand, or institution before it becomes visible to them. Coined and developed by Monica Malhotra.
What is Recognition?
The outcome MONAd produces. Recognition, in MONAd's use, means accuracy rather than applause: the moment something true about you gets named, evidenced, and put on record.
How is this different from consulting or brand strategy?
Consulting tells you what to do. Brand strategy tells you how to position. MONAd reads what is already shaping how you are perceived, then gives direction built on what is true rather than what is convenient. The reading comes first because the direction depends on it.
Who is this not for?
It is not for everyone. Engagements are selective by design. The work requires alignment between subject and interpreter, and alignment is established by conversation, not by transaction.

What is a MONAd File?
A MONAd File™ is a document of record: the evidenced reading of a person or institution, established through investigation, confirmed with the subject, and sealed. What is The MONAd Interpretation™?
The paired document that follows a File. It names what the evidence means, composed through language drawn from the subject's own world. The Interpretation names what the File records.
Can a File be commissioned about me or my brand?
Engagements are commissioned. Files are earned. Publication is never for sale. Private engagements produce private records for the client; publication in the register is a separate institutional decision, made on merit and never purchasable.
What does an engagement cost?
Engagements are priced as institutional work and commissioned in writing within a day of the first conversation. There is one rate card; it does not negotiate, though scope does.
Is the work confidential?
Yes. Private engagements remain private permanently. Publication happens only with consent, by institutional decision, and most engagements are never published.
When should someone engage MONAd?
Before the consequential moment, never after. Ahead of a raise, an exit, a succession, or a public repositioning, when the gap between how you intend to be seen and how you are actually being read has started to cost you trust, clarity, or direction.
How does an engagement begin?
By conversation. Write to monad@intentionalintelligence.in with one line on your moment: what is at stake and when. If there is alignment, the conversation is scheduled within the week, and the conversation itself is the beginning of the reading.
